Thoughts from the Rocking Chair………..Monthly musings of Pastor Ann Bridgers – Greetings to all who come to worship with us:
Does it seem that the months are flying by faster and faster? What happened to April? It appears to have taken wings and flown by. Now we come into May– that month here in the Low Country that helps us transition from spring into summer. Hot temperatures are just around the corner.
Parents, we have a Children’s Church for your young ones, which is led by Miss Char. Bible stories and activities help them to learn about our wonderful God.
As we prepare for our summer time here at Port Royal UMC, I invite you to join the Bible Study group on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 6:00. We meet in Fowler Hall. At the conclusion of our study of the parables, we will begin a new study by Max Lucado: YOU CAN BE BRAVE: Tomorrow’s Dream Begins with Today’s Courage. Books are on order and will be arriving by the first part of May.
We hope that you will come and join us as we gather together for this exciting new study.
