Pastor Ann Bridgers’ Welcome

Greetings from Port Royal United Methodist Church here in the beautiful town of Port Royal, SC.  We are a church that is “small enough to know you, but large enough to love you.”  We open our doors and hearts to all who will come and worship with us.  As we strive to grow in our relationship with our Lord, we invite you to join us.

Won’t you come to join us?  We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Thoughts from the Rocking Chair………..Monthly musings of Pastor Ann Bridgers –     Greetings to all who come to worship with us:

Welcome to the hot days of summer!  Here in the Low Country we have another name for our area– the slow country!  It is just too hot and humid to be outside for very long on these sweltering days.  Things seem to “slow down.”

This July 4th we celebrate our 250th anniversary on Independence Day.  Let us take time to remember the blessings that we share in this great land and thank our God for being our Refuge and our Strength throughout the years.  Yes, America has experienced peaceful times and turbulent times; but, through it all we are still “one nation under God.”  Let our prayers be strong as we trust Almighty God to continue to guide America through the years.

May God bless this land that we love!

Blessings always, Pastor Ann
