Pastor Ann Bridgers’ Welcome

Greetings from Port Royal United Methodist Church here in the beautiful town of Port Royal, SC.  We are a church that is “small enough to know you, but large enough to love you.”  We open our doors and hearts to all who will come and worship with us.  As we strive to grow in our relationship with our Lord, we invite you to join us.

Won’t you come to join us?  We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you.

Be sure to keep the commands of the LORD your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.

Monthly musings of Pastor Ann Bridgers – July 2025

William Wordsworth wrote a poem during the 1800’s titled “The World Is Too Much With Us.”  Many of us perhaps feel that way today, but I share with you words of hope in this time when we in 2025 may feel our world is too much with us!

Guidance is there for us, but we must look with our hearts.  Let go of what the mind and ego see, for it is not the truth.  Follow where your heart leads, for it is led by the spirit of a loving and powerful God who wants what is best for you!

I encourage you to seek guidance from within and let go of what the mind and ego see, trusting that heart’s intuition leads to God’s best for you, as expressed in Psalm 37:5  “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.”

Blessings Always, Pastor
