Pastor Ann Bridgers’ Welcome

Greetings from Port Royal United Methodist Church here in the beautiful town of Port Royal, SC.  We are a church that is “small enough to know you, but large enough to love you.”  We open our doors and hearts to all who will come and worship with us.  As we strive to grow in our relationship with our Lord, we invite you to join us.

Won’t you come to join us?  We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you.

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”

Monthly musings of Pastor Ann Bridgers – May 2025

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32).

Being a disciple of Jesus Christ means more than simply admitting He is Lord!  A true disciple responds to divine discipline.  As followers of Christ, we are to live by His words and hold fast to His truth.  The truth can seem offensive at times since it is often contrary to our human desires.  Many will turn back from following Christ when it means they have to let go of their own agenda, but what devoted disciples will come to realize is that true freedom is only found in the message that Jesus Christ brought.

         Blessings always,   Pastor Ann..
