Thoughts from the Rocking Chair………..Monthly musings of Pastor Ann Bridgers –     Greetings to all who come to worship with us:

      What a wonderful way to begin the month of April.  The first Sunday of this month is EASTER SUNDAY!  We have journeyed through the Lenten season, will experience Good Friday, and then awaken to that glorious morning of Easter.  The tomb is empty!  Our Lord is alive! 

      Springtime is the time of new birth.  Nature is alive with the flowers and the trees are bursting forth in full bloom.  It is a time for awakening to the reality of our faith and keeping our focus on the One who is our Lord and Savior. 

      May our vision for Port Royal UMC always be Christ-centered, as we work together to give glory to our God.  When we think of our many blessings, we find countless reasons to praise God each and every day!
