Greetings from Port Royal United Methodist Church here in the beautiful town of Port Royal, SC.  We are a church that is “small enough to know you, but large enough to love you.”  We open our doors and hearts to all who will come and worship with us.  As we strive to grow in our relationship with our Lord, we invite you to join us.

Thoughts from the Rocking Chair………..Monthly musings of Pastor Ann Bridgers –     Greetings to all who come to worship with us:

    Although the summer season has not begun, according to the calendar, summer time has arrived– at least as far as the weather is concerned in the Low Country!  It seems that springtime makes a brief appearance here before bringing in hot days.

      Beginning the first Wednesday evening in June, the Bible Study class will start a new study entitled “You Can Be Brave” by Max Lucado.  On the back cover of this book, Max Lucado is quoted:  “Fear may fill the world, but it doesn’t have to fill your heart.”  I believe that this study will touch each of us as we read this book and focus on God’s Holy Word.  Come join us on Wednesday evenings at 5 P.M. in the fellowship hall.  There is a place waiting for you.        

         Our doors are always open to all who will come and join us on Sunday mornings for worship and fellowship.  A Children’s Sunday School class is also provided.

        Our invitation is always open.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
